Because I can’t comment on Perseus’ blog for some reason I’d just like to make a little aside here. When I saw our change in strategy from chipping at the edges of the NC to going for their heart I knew it had to have involved Manny somewhere in it. I’d like to thank him and PK for having the guts to go for this. We might not have Evil Thug at the helm any more but Manny really is the kind of leader a bunch of “filthy killers” hellbent on eternal war need to have calling the shots. PK is pretty cool, too.
Continuing with my theme of non-posts I thought I’d point you guys in the direction of Skill Training Complete. Its an excellent Eve questions and answers site where both rookies and veterans alike can help each other understand the world of New Eden.
Link via Casiella. (Mate, please stop linking your own articles in your tumblr feed, it confuses the hell out of me.)
The last Agony Basic Class had 3 Rifter Drifter scholars who had a great time. One of them has even gone so far as to join Agony Unleashed having done another two classes with them. PvP in Eve is great fun and, if you haven’t already, you should really give it a try. Agony are running another Basic class on April 17th. Enrolment opens on April 4th. All you have to do to claim a PvP scholarship is to say that An’Har Family Industries [ANHAR] will be paying for your class. Its fun, informative, and free. Simples.
Well it looks like the first round of PvP Scholarships were a success. Now I need to follow them up by doing a little interview with each of the students. Because the questionnaires are for you to read, what would you like to know about the guys going out an PvPing for the first time?
And yes, I know I owe you all a couple of posts. I’ve been very busy lately but Catch 22 Part 3 is starting to come together in my head.
Just a quick note to say that I haven’t forgotten about the Catch 22 series. I’m just trying to come up with an angle for Part Three. Lots of stuff has happened since D-GTMI and I want to talk about the propaganda war, lack of defence of 9UYH-4, Genos and Exceed joining Provibloc, and random sovereignty shenanigans.
If you’re happy and you know it, pod Amarr.
If you cannot find Caldari, pod Amarr.
If the Minnie are too frisky,
The Gallente look too shifty,
And Jovians are way too risky, pod Amarr.
The war in Providence is currently raging around the systems of 3D-CQU and Z-RFE3. Last night two Ushra’Khan territorial claim units were successfully onlined. Unfortunately a flaw in the DED systems resulted in them coming offline again within a few hours and CVA destroyed them and planted their own. It looks like Aegis Militia were able to online their own TCUs only for them to drop again after an hour. Something is seriously wrong in these systems and I hope CCP looks into it. Until then there is going to be a lot more fighting…
Its been a pretty good day for Rifter Drifter today. Not only did I get featured on Massively but I also did an interview for the next edition of EON magazine.
I’ve been thinking about the nano gangs that have been plaguing our area recently. Snaked Dramiels and Cynabals with a Claymore and Scimitar support have been wreaking havoc. I have an idea to counter them, or at least force them away, but I’m a bit scared of the idea of stepping up and asking my alliance mates to commit hundreds of millions of ISK to my idea – especially considering my propensity for dying in a huge ball of fire. Am I being a coward?
While I’m plugging videos… Tusker pilot Issamailkin has also released a video. It features Rifters killing interceptors and Thrashers doing what they do best as well as some experiments with Mallers.
