I posted a bit back that I was taking a break from Eve to focus on getting some things done in real life. Well, the good news is that I did manage to meet my deadline and as a result I now have a new job and am in the process of moving to a new flat. The bad news is that, while I could barely shake the addiction when I had to, my life is now full of all sorts of bits and pieces and as a result Eve has been suffering.
Its weird how when you need to give something up it is hard to do but then all of a sudden other stuff comes along and you happily toss what you were doing before away.
That’s not to say I’m quitting Eve or packing up this blog. Just that I have noticed that I am barely reading forums any more, haven’t posted here in an age, and have pretty much stopped reading most Eve blogs. Maybe its just the summer. Maybe I’m moving on. Maybe I just need something new. Who knows?
So please, bear with me while this feed is a bit slow. As soon as I have a good story to tell, you will be the first to know.

Good day, Wensley:
RL always comes first. It is better to take care of those issues than to burn out; and even in RL, avoid burning out.
I wish you well; and look forward to a time when you can blog / be in eve.
Take care and hugs.

No issues, this time, just lots of fun things to do other than sit in front of computer. Funny how when you forbid yourself something it is so tempting then when it is no longer forbidden it feels somewhat less sweet.

Ironically your previous blog post about an Enyo that killed a republic fleet firetail and 2 dramiels re-kindled my interest in Eve. I am finishing the required training for t2 blaster rigs as I write this. I look forward to more interesting battle reports 07

Gratz on the new job/flat. I'm lurking a little bit around the edges of EVE still, checking in on a few blogs once in awhile and FHC. But less and less as time goes on. The longer I'm away, the less interesting any of it is. But there are a few people I have a soft spot for in my heart, and you're one of them. Hope RL continues to treat you well

Hey Mynxee, good to hear from you. Hope all is well at your end too. I've found myself following blogs and forums less and less of late, too. I still get the urge to blow things up from time to time as well as chat to friends. This is pretty much what keeps me logging in.
