All ceptor species have an aversion to doing anything slowly, yet are reluctant to be near anything faster.
Tacklin’ Ceptor pilots are cagey creatures loath to come within 15km of anything that may mess up their well-kept hair. They like wide orbits, long range weapons, longer range locks and showing up at the bottom of many, many KMs. They dislike seeing any red on their tank at all, as it not only makes the drawstring on their wallet pucker, washing bloodstains out of their shiny Gistii A-types and polys takes hours and makes them grumpy.
DPS Ceptor pilots (except for the Crow and missile Malediction, who are like the metrosexuals of the species), are rabid, fearless, bloodthirsty predators who use hullscars to attract mates. They like fast, tight orbits, rough sex, and feeling the heat of pretty explosions wash over their faces. They also think that dying builds character, you fucking pussies.

Nice post. Strangely true as I’m a recovering Claw pilot.

Hahaha Six is awesome people. In fact, it’s a stamp of awesomeness if you have Queens of the Stone Age in your employment history.

Haha, that is awesome, but can we be both?!

Tackling inties have their appeal and use in a fleet, but DPS interceptors are what makes the blood sing.
And yes, dying builds character, you fucking pussies.

HAHAHAHAA!
If it ain’t in hull, there was no fight!
I’m inspired, maybe I’ll elaborate on the dreaded Combat Ceptor Pilot (CCP! There you have it) myself in a future blogpost. Just love the Taranis and Crusader.
Maybe I’ll try a Claw as well soon, but I’m put off by the fact that it apparently needs an armor plate to survive a true brawl.
Where can I read this piece from which you have shamelessly stolen?

It is basically the entire bio. I don’t know where he got it from.

i love my ares, just got into it and god does it take some getting used to 6500m/s and overloading to 9000 its just insane, its hard to go back to slower ships…. i still gotta work on handling its all that speed is a lot of power, had my first tackle except i flew straight past and slammed into the gate like road runner or something and then had to gain back my senses before continuing chase lol… it’s just a very different experience than other ships its exilerating.

False assumption about the Claw: fit that baby for speed, hull tank, and damage.
God I love that thing

Very interested in good Claw fits if you have any. I’ve yet to fall in love with that ship.

Can’t really see a Claw do better than a Taranis in terms of all-out dps and hull tanking. No web+no tank=trouble.

Just like my from time-to-time ceptor.
