The week started well for me. A pilot in Hevrice local was asking for an assault frigate dual. I obliged and brought out my Wolf to face his Retribution. The fight swung in my favour pretty quickly as I hugged his hull close and tore into his armour with Republic Fleet EMP rounds while my neutraliser did its best to interfere with his repair cycles. With my shields eventually down his Scorch ammo (I know, wrong choice there, mate) was doing my armour no damage at all and I eventually offered him the chance to save his ship for 30 million ISK. He agreed to my terms and once my NeoCom flashed to show that my wallet had been updated I let him go free. We chatted afterwards and had another fight after where he used faction multifrequency ammunition. It didn’t really make a difference to the outcome. I’m glad to see that my Wolf performs well against Amarr assault frigates and the ISK from the ransom was very welcome.
Let’s hope that there were more good things to come.
