Hey Bob,

Almost all of the fights are at 2x speed except for the Scorpion (4x, I think) at the beginning and the fleet operation at the end (which is about 6x).

The effects that you see are the Rifter using a nosferatu and the Raven using a neutraliser. I had to bail from the Raven fight because he kept nuking my capacitor and I couldn't keep my repair systems running. Not that I think I'd ever have been able to break his tank but you might as well try.

Nice vid. I liked it.

How fast is it running relative to the actual recording? When I slow it down to 1/4 speed, it looks like that might be close to actual speed. That's useful for analysing what's going on tactically, but you lose the music, which is gives the vid a lot of its entertainment punch, imo.

I'm seeing a lot of module effects I don't recognize. Like the red star-burst effect vs the Rifter at 1:45, and the electrical (sort of) arcs effect vs theRaven at 5:40. What are those? (Is there a wiki page for the Eve visual effects of weapons and modules? I've never found one.)

But good work on the vid. I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm interested to see more of the frigate tactics.

Ouch, man. That doesn't sound healthy. Get some sleep!

Thanks for the comments, though. I'm definitely consciously trying to explore the tactical efforts of flying a frigate more and more. Things like different ways of killing 'ceptors and picking off weak points of traps (my favourite thing in Eve). I actually want to do a couple of slightly more explicit frigate tactical videos. Kil2's commentary over his vids is massively inspiring. Honestly, all comparisons with Frigank are immensely flattering because not only is Prometheus a brilliant editor but also a fantastic pilot too. I wish my knowledge of cool electro was anywhere close to theirs. I've nicked half the tunes I've bought lately from Kil2, Gneez, and Prom. Next video will have utterly different music again. My taste is far too eclectic to settle down. I'll always associate Walk Idiot Walk with Rifters from now on.

Video number three is going to be different. Still Rifter-based but the plan is to make it slightly more tactical in nature. The best thing is that part of the reason I record fights is so that I can learn from them in the future.

Since I was totally wasted after staying up around 40 hours with my E-O post, here's a more in depth response.

I liked this offering a lot more than your previous video. I tend to appreciate larger ship fights as they last long enough to see a myriad of tactics: frigate fights don't often last long enough for that. In this video you were able to incorporate the full breadth of your PvP experience in frigate hulls, wins and losses, as well as tactics & strategy. I'm looking at your Rifter vs Crow & Rifter vs Taranis fights as far as tactics goes.

Aside: your video style is shifting in line with Prometheus' Frig Gank line of films with its content and music (okay, not so much music, but this mix was better imo). That's a good thing.
